Dingle & Dingle Peninsula

Dingle is a bustling town full of charm and character. It is the home of the famous Dingle Dolphin ‘Fungi’ who lives year round in Dingles natural harbour.

Dingle is famous for great scenery, pubs and excellent restaurants. It is also home to Dingle Ocean World, Dingle Distillary and Creans Brewery.

Time spent meandering around Dingle is one of lifes great simple pleasures for tourists and locals alike.

Dingle is also the starting point for Slea Head Drive which Top Gear recently described as one of ‘the best roads ever driven’.

Starting out in Dingle you can take in the magnificent beaches of Ventry and Coumeenoole and then drive further on towards Dunquin and the Blasket Centre. See the filming sites of movies such as Ryans Daughter, Far and Away and more recently Star Wars.

Camp close to the Gallurus Oratary and visit the famous Christian church.

Dingle draws alot of visitors during the high summer months but is an amazing destination year round.
